The Mermaid Society of San Marcos, TX is an organization dedicated to preserving the San Marcos River. This was a redesign from a previous site to help the group’s administrators to more easily be able to update information as necessary. We used existing branding and helped set up and organize Mailchimp and Eventbrite for marketing and event registration.

This turned out to be an interesting project. We started out thinking we would be building a website for their organization, and setting up a promotional page for their annual major fundraising festival. What we ended up doing was actually creating two separate sites that go back and forth seamlessly. This allows for complete control and a much more robust infrastructure for the festival.

I worked at a new location of Kay Jeweler’s and as a grass roots type event, we hosted an Open House. We advertised with walk in customers as well as mailed out reminders to customers who were interested. Our store’s decor had the pinstripe motif everywhere and I wanted to echo that in the design of the card.
